1. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone is likely to report strong April-June quarter earnings. The firm will report its earnings on August 1. According to a Bloomberg poll of eight brokerages, Adani Port is expected to report a revenue of Rs 7,006.80 crore, a 12 percent increase from the previous year and flat quarter-on-quarter. Seven brokerages project a net profit of Rs 2292.50 crore, up 5 percent year-on-year and 13 percent quarter-on-quarter.

Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra reported a decline in first-quarter profit on Wednesday, as higher expenses offset support from strong sales of its sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and tractor demand recovery. The 'Scorpio' maker's standalone profit after tax fell 5.3% to 26.13 billion rupees (₹2,613 crore in Indian rupees.), from 27.59 billion rupees in the year-earlier period.

Larsen & Toubro's buildings and factories business vertical has secured a "significant" order to construct an automobile manufacturing plant for an undisclosed company, according to a Wednesday filing to the stock exchanges.
